Matthew McBride This album was criminally neglected for years. None of my friends owned it and I'm not sure why. It's the apex of Planes Mistaken For Stars' sound. It's got a brusque, nearly-antiquated style of prose plus it's got the rough hewn rawness of O'Donnell's vocals which comes through especially well on this album.
It's just a must buy. I'm glad it got a proper re-release.
